Alibaba Freight Forwarding: How to Ship to Fulfilment Centres Successfully
There are similarities between Alibaba and FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), as they are both ways for businesses to launch an eCommerce service online. Alibaba, however, has a different market share from FBA, so it is worth doing your research to decide which is best for you and your merchandise.
Alibaba has its own freight forwarding service, Aliexpress, which will deliver to your customers. They handle inventory management and shipping while you focus on your products, marketing, and selling. It may sound simple, but there are many requirements to consider that will determine your success or failure in getting your products to or from the fulfilment centres.
Freight and shipping are essential for sellers to understand. Aliexpress freight forwarder requirements can be complex, and it is things like not understanding how freight works that can put a potential business owner off selling via platforms. ECommerce is an essential part of every sales strategy these days, and Alibaba freight forwarder provides an efficient vehicle to market. We support you to get your goods to the warehouse and start selling.

Shipping Costs From China to the UK via Alibaba
How to import from Alibaba to the UK? Shipping costs can vary depending on volume. Sea freight and Air are both options for the UK and China imports.
Sea Freight
Sea freight is usually cheaper than Air for high volume and has a favourable environmental footprint, but it takes a while. It is essential to factor in door-to-door journey lead time. Sea shipping can be by full container or shared. Less than Container Load (LCL) is a cost-efficient option to save money with ocean freight when you do not have enough volume to fill an entire shipping container. Full Container Load (FCL) will reduce costs, and it is the best option for high volumes.
Air Freight
Best for lighter, time-sensitive shipments that need to be handled with care.
