VAT PORTUGAL
To organise a Portugal delivery to the UK, it’s necessary to oversee customs declarations, including VAT notices. In Portugal, businesses registered for VAT, known as “IVA” (Imposto sobre o Valor Acrescentado), might be able to apply a zero rate to goods they export to the UK, subject to fulfilling certain criteria. Portuguese VAT regulations are in line with EU standards. The standard VAT rate in Portugal is 23%, which is comparable to or slightly lower than the rates in some other EU countries.
