Here at Barrington Freight, we can arrange for ex-works (EXW) shipments to be made, whereby we will have your palletised goods collected directly from your supplier. We’ll then deal with the Indian exportation checks at INTUP and arrange for the onward journey to a container port like Kochi or Mangaluru, both of which face the Arabian Sea. From there, your pallets will be loaded onto ocean-going container vessels that will head to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal to reach the Mediterranean Sea beyond it.
However, if your supplier is offering a free on board (FOB) delivery, then you won’t necessarily want an EXW service. Under an FOB shipment, it is the supplier who will be responsible for getting the goods to Tirupur Port and for the exportation documentation to have been prepared. Once cleared for onward transit, we will then have your goods collected for the rest of their journey. Either way, EXW or FOB, you will find that we offer a truly dedicated service that leaves no stone unturned in the pursuit of excellence.
