Logistics Process
Collection and Export
The engine was collected from the client’s premises in the UK on 15 August. Barrington Freight prepared the export customs paperwork, ensuring the declaration was completed accurately. This was critical in avoiding clearance delays when leaving the UK.
European Transport
On 22 August, the palletised cargo departed the UK. The groupage service transhipped at our Austrian partner’s depot. This step was vital, as it provided a controlled handover point before onward delivery to Albania.
Albanian Customs and Delivery
From Austria, the cargo departed on 29 August with final destination Tirana. Customs clearance was completed smoothly upon arrival on 4 September. The goods were delivered to the end customer the following day.
