The ocean covers almost three quarters of the Earth’s surface, and is around 14,000 feet deep on average. This vast body of water is largely unexplored, and strange objects often wash up on beaches all around the world.

Some of these are mysterious creatures from the depths of the ocean, never before seen by human eyes. However, other items are more familiar. Trainers, bananas, cigarettes, and even pieces of Lego have washed ashore in recent years.

The team at Barrington Freight have put together an infographic detailing some of the most bizarre finds.
