What is FCL shipping?
- Your shipment is large enough to fill most of a container
- You want to reduce cargo handling
- Your goods are valuable or fragile
- Faster overall transit is important
Step 1: Obtaining an accurate quotation
- FOB (Free On Board): Your supplier is responsible for delivering the container to the departure port and loading it onto the vessel. From that point onwards, the freight costs become your responsibility.
- EXW (Ex Works): The supplier simply makes the goods available at their premises. Collection, export handling, export Customs and international transport all become part of the freight forwarding process.
